Mandy Business Office Team Leader and Scheduling Coordinator

Mandy has over 20 years of experience as a dental hygienist. She earned her Associate of Applied Science in 2004 and completed her dental hygienist program, as well as earned her laser and sedation certifications. She loves working alongside such an amazing team, and she appreciates how efficient and smooth-running the office is.

Whenever she isn’t at the office, Mandy is spending time with her four very active children. She loves watching them play sports, and together, they enjoy kayaking and boating on the lake, as well as spending time on their farm.

Jacqueline Financial Coordinator

Jacqueline has been in the dental field for 10 years. She completed her education at the Institute of Dental Technology, where she received her certification as an EDDA. Along with other certifications in CPR, ACLS, and dental radiation. She really enjoys interacting and finding the best financial option for our patients to advance them in dental treatment, as well as working with such a great team!

Whenever she has free time outside of the dental office, Jacqueline enjoys spending time with her family, going to concerts, shopping, and traveling to the beach.

Ally Hygiene Scheduling Coordinator

Ally joined our team in 2021, and she absolutely loves that dental wellness comes with immense love, support, and teamwork. Plus, the wonderful patients make it a joy to come to work each day! As for her studies, she attended Eastern Kentucky University after graduating from high school, and she majored in biochemistry.

When Ally isn’t at the office, you’ll most likely find her hiking and canoeing with her spouse, doing her nails, or napping. She also has three adorable cats, Max, Lily, and Molly!

Carla Certified Dental Assistant, Expanded Duties Dental Assistant, and 3D Digital Coordinator

Carla has been working in the dental field for three decades now, and she loves helping patients through the transformative process of getting a great smile alongside a team that feels like family! She studied at Coastal Carolina Community College in North Carolina and is both a CDA and EDDA. She is also trained in IV sedation dentistry, dental implants, Invisalign, BOTOX®, iTero, 3D model printing, and CPR/ACLS, ICAT, and more. She likes being involved with our once-a-month learning center for general dentists, as she gets to help train other dentists on IV placement, and she enjoys helping our community with their dental needs at our Happy Smiles Clinic.

Originally from Winchester, Carla and her husband, Jared, have two children named Zachery and Brayden, and two dogs named Diesel and Elly Mae. Outside of work, she spends her free time going to the lake, camping, traveling, going to the beach, and spending quality time with her family. She’s also very OCD about keeping things organized, both at home and at the dental office.

Tatum Hygiene Scheduling Coordinator

Originating from Versailles, KY, Tatum studied at Midway University with a major in Biology while playing softball. She later transferred to MedQuest to obtain her certification as an Expanded Duties Dental Assistant (EDDA). The thing she loves most about working at our practice is the welcoming environment everyone promotes in the office. Every team member is always willing to help, and patients are our biggest priority.

During her free time, Tatum loves playing with her dogs, going shopping, and traveling whenever she gets the chance. She also enjoys going to sporting events as well as trying new foods.

Robin Patient Care Specialist/Team Leader

Robin is our knowledgeable team leader at Dental Wellness of Lexington. She enjoys delivering high-quality patient care and collaborating with a team that is so consistent about providing outstanding care to their patients. She earned her Expanded Functions Dental Assisting certification from Bluegrass Community and Technical College, as well has her AAS degree in dental hygiene. She’s also certified in laser dentistry, anesthesia, and guided biofilm therapy.

Robin considers herself a lifelong learner, so whenever she isn’t at the office, you can find her searching out new ways to grow and develop both personally and professionally. Family time is invaluable to her. She loves spending long weekends with her family and friends, as well as cooking homemade meals. She also enjoys gardening.

Tiffany Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Originally from Paris, KY, Tiffany has been working in dentistry for nearly 30 years. She studied at both Bluegrass Community & Technical College and Kentucky Tech. Tiffany is an EDDA with advanced training in IV sedation, dental implants, CPR, ACLS, CEREC, and HIPPA/OSHA. She truly loves being able to help patients smile brightly again in the treatment chair!

Tiffany and her husband Cody have two daughters named Kennedy and Addison. Outside of work, she enjoys hanging out with her family and friends and doing all sorts of activities outdoors, including razor riding, camping, boating, and traveling.

Chelsea Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Chelsea has close to a decade of experience in the dental field and counting. She graduated from the University of Kentucky and received her EDDA certification. She’s also certified in areas like coronal polishing, X-rays, CPR, and IV sedation, and she’s undergone training in topics like Invisalign, oral surgery, and crown designing with Planmeca scanners. Her favorite thing about her job is being able to make an incredible impact on the lives of her patients, as she finds it very rewarding to see someone regain their confident smile after receiving transformative care.

Outside of the dental office, Chelsea lives with her husband and their four children. She loves trail riding her horses on their farm and being active with her loved ones. A fun fact about her is that she played college basketball at Asbury University.

Breanna Assistant Team Co-Captain and Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Breanna is a graduate of MedQuest College, and on top of her EDDA training, she is also certified in IV Sedation, CPR, ACLS/BLS, digital scanning, and implants (her favorite procedure). She has been in the dental field for close to a decade now and is loving every minute of it. She finds that working in dentistry is extremely rewarding, and nothing makes her happier than giving our patients the smiles they have always wanted. She also likes working with an amazing team that makes coming to work fun!

Breanna is married, has a son, and is a dog-mom to Maggie. If she isn’t hanging out with her husband, her child, Colton, or her pet, you’ll likely find her crafting, spending time outdoors, going on beach vacations, shopping, or relaxing with a good Netflix show.

Katlyn Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Originating from Mt. Sterling, KY, Katlyn attended MedQuest College for her Comprehensive Dental Assisting certification. She’s also received thorough training in radiation safety and technique, and she’s certified in CPR and AED. For her, the best thing about her job is meeting new people and helping them get the healthy smiles they deserve. She also appreciates working with an amazing team of doctors, hygienists, and assistants who support and help each other when needed.

Away from the office, Katlyn lives with her loving fiancé and two beautiful children. In her free time, she likes playing video games, reading a good book, or enjoying time with friends. One fun fact about her is that she has three dogs, three cats, and two rabbits!

Kathy Registered Dental Hygienist

Kathy has spent all of her 30+ years as a dental hygienist right here at Dental Wellness of Lexington, and our patients absolutely love her. She earned her Associate of Applied Science degree from Lexington Community College as well as her certifications in laser dentistry, sedation, and local anesthesia. She is also a consultant and trainer who educates dental offices in the area on periodontal treatment and team building. Her favorite part of working at the practice is connecting with her patients and helping them achieve healthy smiles.

Kathy is married to her high school sweetheart, Jeff. Together, they have a beautiful daughter. She loves going on walks as a family with their rescue dog, Lilly Belle. She also enjoys exploring wineries and spending time with her friends.

Susan Registered Dental Hygienist, New Patient Coordinator, and Orthodontic Assistant

 

Susan grew up all over the country – in fact, she’d gone to twelve schools and lived in seven states by the time she was 20 years old! She studied at Texas Tech and the University of Kentucky for her education. In addition to dental hygiene training, she is also a CDT (Certified Dental Technician) and is trained in lasers and local anesthesia. Her dental career impressively spans over 34 years! What she enjoys most about this job is interacting with such wonderful people – both the patients and her work family.

Susan has three amazing (almost grown) children as well as a rescue terrier at home, and she loves spending as much quality time as she can with them. Other interests of hers include reading biographies, lifting weights, and volunteering at her church!

Maya Receptionist, Hygiene Assistant, and Dental Assistant

Originally from Chicago, Maya obtained a Bachelor of Science in Neuroscience & a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, and she’s currently going to start dental school at the University of Kentucky’s College of Dentistry. She finds working with our team to be one of the greatest experiences she could ask for as a student in the dental field, as her coworkers have turned into family and make working and learning about dentistry so much fun.

In her free time, Maya loves being outdoors and doing things like hiking, boating, swimming, or lying in the sun with a good book. She also enjoys being around animals, specifically horses, and serving in her community!

Lindsey Assistant Team Co-Captain and Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Lindsey is a native of Lexington, and she loves having the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of others by helping them gain confidence in their smile. She attended MedQuest College, graduating Summa Cum Laude, and obtaining her certification in Comprehensive Dental Assisting. She’s also certified in radiation safety and technique, IV placement, oral sedation, CPR, BLS, and AED.

Outside of the dental office, Lindsey is passionate about staying active, as she competes in her local volleyball league, plays pickleball, and goes to the gym often. Traveling is another one of her passions, with Tokyo, Japan being her favorite destination thus far!

Mandy Z. Registered Dental Hygienist

Mandy Z. has spent over half of her 15+ year career right here at Dental Wellness of Lexington. Her favorite part of working at the office is the team’s commitment to providing excellent care, the compassion the team has for their patients, and the phenomenal technology they get to use. Mandy earned her dental hygiene degree from Bluegrass Community and Technical College, as well as her IV sedation and laser certifications.

Whenever Mandy Z. isn’t at the office, she loves game nights with her family, putting together puzzles, listening to audiobooks, tending to her flowers, playing with her children, and snuggling her dog!

Debbie Registered Dental Hygienist

Debbie is our bilingual dental hygienist who has been in the field for over 30 years. She enjoys working with an exceptional team of professionals who are dedicated to helping each patient achieve optimal oral health. She graduated with her Associate of Applied Science from Lexington Community College from their dental hygiene program. Since then, she has also earned her certifications in laser debridement, local anesthesia, and sedation.

Whenever Debbie isn’t at the office, she works as a fitness instructor. She enjoys hiking, singing at her church, and spending time with her husband, two sons, and their dog.

Megan Expanded Duties Dental Assistant

Megan completed her studies at Medical Career and Technical College. Now, she is both a registered dental assistant and an expanded duties dental assistant! She joined our team in 2022, and she’s been helping our patients get the top-tier dental care they deserve ever since. She also enjoys working alongside the doctors and her coworkers, who are just as passionate as she is about helping people get their dream smiles.

As for interests outside of dentistry, Megan enjoys hiking, knitting, practicing yoga, spending time with her daughter, buying new houseplants, kayaking, and having coffee with friends!

Lisa Dental Assistant (EFDA)

Lisa brings an impressive three decades of experience to our patients and has worked with our team at Dental Wellness of Lexington for multiple years now. In addition to having her Expanded Functions Dental Assistant certification, she also earned her IV sedation certifications from the University of Kentucky and is ACLS-certified. She’s passionate about serving others, and she loves to connect with her patients and make them feel at-ease, informed, and comfortable throughout each of their visits.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Lisa loves to laugh with her husband, who is her favorite person and a huge source of inspiration for her. Together, they have four adult sons, and in her free time, Lisa serves as a ministry leader at Kings Church. She also loves exploring nature, hiking to waterfalls, and photography.

Alicen Dental Assistant

Alicen is our friendly dental assistant at Dental Wellness of Lexington. With her ultimate goal to go to school for dentistry, she’s passionate about what she does and loves to keep the office spotless. Her favorite thing about being a dental assistant is being able to work alongside such a friendly and helpful team.

In her free time, Alicen enjoys cooking and spending time with her family and dogs, who she takes to the dog park three times every week!
